For the best results, we recommend sending the flowers to us as soon as possible, ideally within 3 days of your event. However, we can still work with flowers that are up to a week old, but it's important to note that the longer the flowers are left, the more they are likely to wilt, mould, and lose their colour. It's essential to send your flowers to us on the next business day, via express post in the morning, after your event. We will send you detailed instructions on how to prepare and package your flowers for preservation. By following our instructions, you can ensure that your flowers arrive at our home studio in the best possible condition for preservation.

While some flowers hold their colours better than others, it is to be expected that a change in hue will happen as a natural part of the drying process. Over time, flowers will gradually fade but the rate of discolouration cannot be predicted. At Adelaide Fleur, we do not use any form of colour correcting with our flowers as we believe the natural process is beautiful as is. While we cannot guarantee the exact timeframe that your dried flowers will maintain their colours.
